CALPELRA’s 2020 Annual Training Conference, the 45th annual CALPELRA conference, will be held over five days, November 16 – 20, 2020. Due to restrictions on large public gatherings imposed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and to protect participants’ health and well-being, CALPELRA will present the 2020 Conference as a virtual event.

Conference Format

#CALPELRA2020 will be held as a virtual event over five days, November 16-20, and will include over 75 great sessions, with exciting opportunities for live/real-time learning and networking and direct interaction with other Conference attendees, sponsors, and speakers.

Sessions cover a wide variety of labor and employment topics that are critical to HR professionals, including labor relations, negotiations, investigations, police and fire issues, leaves, and HR planning. This year’s program also includes many sessions focused on the critical issues of equity, inclusion, bias, and diversity in public sector labor and employment.

We’re excited by the possibilities this new virtual Conference format offers, and look forward to presenting a Conference event that meets if not exceeds the high standards we’ve set for CALPELRA’s Annual Conference. This won’t be your standard, run-of-the-mill collection of webinars; it will be an interactive, engaging experience using current technology tools. And you’ll be able to participate from your office or home; no need for expensive hotel nights or travel expenses.
