Leave Management is hard work. And, when addressing excessive use, abuse and misuse of leave that job gets even harder. From perceived FMLA manipulation to employees attempting to leverage psychological stressors for a job change, it becomes at times difficult to separate legitimate medical needs from personal preferences. These are issues widespread among employers nationwide. The financial impact of excessive leave is daunting and the moral impact on your workforce perhaps even greater.
