ADA Disability Compliance:  The Essential Reasonable Accommodations Workshop

Today, employers are struggling with more and more requests for workplace accommodations. How do they keep up with the growing workload associated with disability compliance matters? The answer is to ensure your organization understands the intent and purpose of the laws, and to employ a consistent process.

Rachel Shaw delivers a solutions-focused training that will address the realities of where we are with employer accommodation obligations under Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).  Starting with a basic overview of ADA, you will be guided through how to create or enhance your disability compliance program to ensure your organization is compliant and efficient and effective when dealing with requests for workplace and leave accommodations.

Understand what employees are eligible for reasonable accommodations, and how to employ the Disability Interactive Process Hallway® strategy which walks you through not only what employers need to know, but how to manage even the most difficult employee accommodations matters. Practical and field-tested, Rachel’s solutions are altruistic and straightforward and most importantly support employers to make reasonable accommodation decisions they can feel confident about.  Leave with an understanding of ADA law and a practical and implementable process to manage reasonable accommodations.  This means a step-by-step, how-to process including templates, samples and scripts.
